TOWNSHIP ROAD CREW OPENINGS
LABORER / TRUCK DRIVER / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Union Township, Washington County, is accepting applications for union positions on the road crew for a Road Department Laborer / Truck Driver / Equipment Operator.  Applicant must have a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and be mechanically inclined, with the ability to operate equipment and perform general labor and asphalt repair and other duties as described in the job description.  Applicant will be subject to physical exam, drug and alcohol testing.  Act 34 and 151 clearances are required.  A full and complete copy of the job description including essential job functions, required education, qualifications, skills and abilities, as well as a copy of the required Job application can be found on the Union Township website,  www.uniontwp.psatstwp.org, or can be requested in writing.  Union Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Union Township- Secretary and Treasurer Positions

Union Township, Washington County with a municipal office at 3904 Finleyville-Elrama Road, Finleyville, Pennsylvania, 15332 is seeking organized, motivated, self-starting individuals to serve in the position(s) of Township Secretary and Treasurer. These positions are administrative in nature, and the candidate(s) should possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidate(s) shall have experience working with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be proficient in Quickbooks. The duties will include but not be limited to those outlined in Article 7 and 8 of the Second Class Township Code, such as preparing the minutes of the meetings for approval by the Board of Supervisors, providing administrative support to the Township Manager, receiving and distributing official correspondence, advertising and filing all legal notices as well as handling the Township’s payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, preparation of budget and the Township’s general accounting needs. Wages will be commensurate with education, skills and relevant experience as well as a competitive benefit package.
