Door-to-Door Data Collectors – Reassessment Project

BE ADVISED.   Data Collectors will be in the Township starting October 20 as part of Washington County Reassessment Project

Please be advised that employees from Tyler Technologies, Inc. will begin collecting residential data in Union Township beginning October 20th, 2014.  Employees will be wearing yellow safety vests with the Tyler logo and will display their Washington County photo ID badge.

This is part of the ongoing Washington County Reassessment Project.  Employees will be going door to door throughout the township gathering information.  Data collectors will not enter the residences.  They will knock and ring door bells and if the owner is home they will ask general questions about the interior; i.e. total number of rooms, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.  If no answer, they will leave a yellow door hanger questionnaire which should be completed and returned to the indicated address.  However, in some instances the data collector will enter the property if the owner wants to point out a physical of functional problem that may affect the market value of their property. After collecting the interior information they will measure the exterior of the residence and any other structure(s) on the property.
